Wow! I suddenly realized that it’s been way too long since I published a teaser post for one of my travel guides, and since I know that this type of post always gets lots of positive attention from you guys – I’m happy to present a comeback of “20 photos that will make you want to visit…” ?
Not only is this section really back, its first comeback post is about a spring trip to one of the best low-cost destinations – beautiful Budapest!
This is the second time that Daniel and I have visited Budapest, and I must say that our second time around in this beautiful city, also known as “Paris of the East”, was even more successful than the first. I totally fell in love with it again…
Just like our first trip to Budapest three years ago, we jumped on the opportunity this time as well to take advantage of cheap flight tickets offered by a low-cost airline that leaves from the Ovda airport {the last time before its closing, and the flights being redirected to Eilat’s new Ramon airport!}. This time around, we flew at the end of March, the very beginning of spring, and enjoyed perfectly blue skies, perfect weather for strolling around town.
It was pretty amazing to see how much the city has evolved and developed in such a relatively short amount of time – so many restaurants and cool food spots had opened since the last time we were there, and the whole experience really reminded me of our winter vacation to Krakow, where we visited last year.
Budapest is such a cool city, a true blend of traditional and trendy, in the best way possible. And of course the low currency value ain’t bad either 🙂
Stick around for a soon to be published travel guide – a complete guide to 48 hours in Budapest, but until then, here are the first 20 photos from our trip. {By the way, you’re more than welcome to watch the special Highlight dedicated to Budapest on my Instagram account}.

The intricate details on the buildings, and that ceiling in particular, are so beautiful.
Really looking forward to the full travel guide!
