There’s nothing like a new and refreshing fragrance to present the most talked about collection of the year, which was created in collaboration between Tommy Hilfiger and super-model Gigi Hadid.

The Girl – that’s the name of the new fragrance which was inspired by the latest it girl, Gigi Hadid, who was selected to be Tommy Hilfiger’s exclusive international ambassador for the 2016 fall-winter season.

The fragrance’s name derives from TOMMY GIRL image which accompanies the brand’s campaigns every season. The TOMMY GIRL is a girl who embodies the brand’s spirit and doesn’t fear trying new things.

Gigi wasn’t chosen to be the “TOMMY GIRL” of this upcoming season for no reason – the girl has crazy style and an even more insane number of fans following her on every social media platform.

Her personality is bold and captivating and she’s just cool in the most effortless way there is, and the fragrance manages to deliver exactly this optimistic and fun vibe – feminine and sexy with a tomboy hint.

The Girl is a fresh and fruity fragrance with a touch of musk which opens with bursts of green pears, violet leaves and green fig leaves, and then continues to a hypnotic scent of jasmine leaves and lily of the valley. The cedar and cashmere bark give the fragrance its signature scent.

In the last few years, my taste changed a lot when it comes to perfumes. In the past I opted heavy and sweet scents, like Dior’s Hypnotic, but today I prefer perfumes that are light and refreshing.

This is exactly what The Girl is like – it has something very clean and refreshing that turns heads in an effortless way and that’s exactly why I’m going to adopt it as my daily perfume.

At the beginning of July, a playful and stunning promo for the fragrance was posted on Gigi’s mother’s Instagram account. It was produced with a nautical, American and chic concept, and totally made me want to try it out myself.

Gigi plays the role of a tough but sweet captain with a flirtatious wink, giving orders to the crew of Hilfiger’s hunky sailors.

She’s wearing an over-sized pea coat, inspired by the nautical look, with black boots and a captain hat that give her a sexy and playful look.

Definitely the look to rock this coming fall 😉

And of course there’s also the official commercial for the perfume… have I already said that this girl is stunning??  ? ? ?

The collection will be launched on September 10, and will include sportswear, shoes and accessories for women and will accompany the perfume that was created by her inspiration – all of these will be available in Tommy Hilfiger stores worldwide, on the brand’s website and in the brand’s partners’ stores.

If the collection will be as successful as the perfume – it’s definitely worth the wait ♡
