I have a confession to make.
My name is Tamar and I’m addicted to salad.
I can eat salad for breakfast, lunch and dinner – and even enjoy it!
Anyone else here like that?
I think one of the things people enjoy telling me is “Stop eating salad already” or “Are you on a diet? You’re already skinny!” – It’s as if eating salad is some kind of sin.
So no – I’m not always on some kind of diet, and no, I don’t get sick of it.
Luckily, my parents taught me to eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables from a young age, and thanks to them, I developed my love for salads. There are also so many options and ways to change it up – the variety available is basically limitless.
Any yet, my favorite salad is the Israeli salad – cucumbers, tomatoes, red peppers, onions and sometimes I throw in some herbs.
That’s it – give me that and I’m all set.
Now that it’s warming up outside, I decided to make the Israeli salad with a refreshing summer twist and replace the usual vegetables with my favorite summer fruits – watermelon and mango ♡♡♡
So why did I give it this name? It’s very simple, they are visually very similar
This salad is so good you’ll want to eat it with a spoon!
