A Recipe For Guilt Free Iced Mocha

This recipe for guilt free ice mocha is exactly the drink you should drink to start the day on your right foot, or to get a boost of energy in the afternoon. It's made from espresso, coconut milk, magical chia seeds, high-quality cocoa powder and sweet medjool dates – it’s not only crazy healthy, but it will also make you feel like you sinned with a super corrupt drink.

As I promised, I'm just finishing a very detailed post about the process that explains:

The full post about the detox will be up in a few days, but until then I decided to share with you one of my favorite recipes from the process. In fact, there were a few good recipes on the menu that I plan to adopt to my daily diet, but this recipe for ice mocha is the best proof that healthy food can be as tasty and corrupt as the fatty, sugar-packed versions of the very same drink.

In order to prepare the ice mocha at home, or to prepare smoothies with lots of ice, I highly recommend getting a good blender like the one I recently bought from the company ‘Ninja’. Although it’s a bit more expensive than other blenders that can be found on the market, but it knows how to do the job properly so in my opinion it’s really worth the investment 🙂

Clean Eating Iced Coffee Mocha Recipe - it's simple, SUGAR FREE, healthy drink you can make in the comfort of your home!

Preparation time – 3 minutes.

Ingredients –

  • Long espresso, or 1 teaspoon of Instant coffee with one-third cup of cold water
  • One-third cup of 18% coconut milk or half a cup of 7% coconut milk
  • One-third cup of cold water
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 Tablespoon of Chia
  • 1 teaspoon of high-quality cocoa powder
  • 2 medium sized medjool dates, pitted
  • Optional for {super} sweet lovers – a teaspoon of real maple for sweetening

Instructions –

  1. Mix all the smoothie ingredients in the blender.
  2. Pour into a large glass.
  3. Take a sip and get addicted!

Simple, healthy, easy and most importantly – delicious!!
